In light of the overwhelming evidence, it is now more evident than ever that women and children disproportionately bear the weight of disasters when they occur. The profound impacts of these occurrences deeply affect the biological, psychological, and physiological well-being of these vulnerable groups.
While the evidence is clear and the calls for proactive solutions are mounting, there is still significant work ahead. This project serves as a vital instrument in shining a light on the challenges faced by these communities, especially in the aftermath of floods.
It is with great joy that I express my sincere gratitude to all those joining us on this transformative journey, united in our shared commitment to effect real change.
